RNA modifications at the Crossroads of simulations, chemistry and biology

We are pleased to announce the upcoming CECAM workshop on “RNA modifications at the Crossroads of simulations, chemistry and biology”. The event will take place on November 16-18th 2026 at the Faculty of Pharmacy of  Université Paris Cité, and will bring together researchers working at the interface of theoretical and computational chemistry, structural biology, molecular simulations and biochemistry.

This workshop aims to address the challenges faced by bioinformaticians, computational chemists, physicists, and experimentalists in studying RNA modifications for various purposes. We will bring together experts from diverse backgrounds including bioinformatics, molecular simulations, and experimental biology who have explored different aspects of RNA modifications. By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue, we want to stimulate innovative interdisciplinary research and identify both current challenges and future directions in this rapidly evolving field.

The program will include invited lectures from leading experts, as well as contributed talks and a poster session, with ample time for discussion to foster exchanges across disciplines. The deadline  for poster and talk abstract submission is on August 23rd  2026.
